This is exciting news for investors of Flamingo Beach real estate and the neighboring residential communities of Reserva Conchal, Mar Vista, Potrero and Las Catalinas. The Flamingo real estate market has been very brisk in anticipation of both the Flamigo Marina and new luxury W Hotel at Reserva Conchal which is scheduled to open November 2018.
According to the Mayor of Santa Cruz, MarÃa Rosa López, the Marina Flamingo Development Group was granted the Flamingo Marina concession for a term of 35 years. During this period the company has committed to three stages of development that include 211 boat slips, a training area, crafts market, shopping plaza, pedestrian bridge, convention center, and marina clubhouse. The construction of a luxury hotel with a minimum of 64 rooms is also under consideration.

According to the concession document, the Marine Flamingo Development Group has all the permits to start construction by January 2019 including the environmental impact study approved by Setena. Additionally, the Flamingo Marina project also has the approval of technical feasibility from the Interinstitutional Commission of Marinas and Tourist Berths (CIMAT).
